The Education Center for Tourism and SAF announce the Education Morning for Tourism on Monday, November 20 at 09:00 – 10:00.

At the meeting, there will be a presentation of the main focuses of the action plan of the tourism policy until 2030. The first draft of the action was recently published in the consultation portal. The focus of the meeting will be on proposals for actions that promote competence and quality in tourism.

• Address from Lilja Dögg Alfreðsdóttir, Minister of Culture and Trade.

• Sunna Þórðardóttir, an expert at the Ministry of Education and Business, presents the main focuses of the action plan.

• Gylfi Dalmann Aðalsteinsson, associate professor at the University of Iceland, and Birgir Guðmundsson, hotel manager of Hilton Reykjavík Nordica, present actions on competence and quality in tourism.

The moderator is Haukur Harðarson, project manager of Hæfnisetur tourism.
