The annual report of the Icelandic Tourism Training Centre for the year 2024 has been published. This is the eighth year of the Training Centre's operation, which can truly be said to have been eventful. A new agreement was signed with the Ministry of Employment and the Economy, which ensures the continued development of the Training Centre. Powerful new solutions were introduced during the year, such as the pilot project Education for the Future, a user-friendly template for an employee handbook and a variety of support materials for the Icelandic language. It was also gratifying to see a study line in tourism become a reality and a practical skills assessment in connection with it. The visibility of the Training Centre increased through participation and collaboration in numerous events as well as through strategic marketing.
